Barcelona manager Luis Enrique left his pre-match press conference after being asked a question about the manager rating L’Equipe published on Friday. The Spanish professional occupied its 13th position.
“I love 13th place,” he claimed sarcastically and left his seat, letting out another remark. “Not long to go now.”
Even before the critical question, Luis Enrique appeared offended. While asked to comment on their competitors Real Madrid season-end fixtures, the coach went on with another accusation towards the journalists.
“I will not get into this game you’re trying to play. We just need to focus on what we can do, each team has to do their job and we have to to do our job,” the manager concluded.
Luis Enrique is set to leave his position by the end of the season. His team are currently sharing La Liga lead with Real Madrid, Los Blancos having another game up their sleeve.
Barcelona derby (Espanyol vs Barcelona) will take place on Saturday, April 29 at 19:45 CET.
