Eden Hazard and Olivier Giroud are trying to convince Nabil Fekir to join Chelsea

Liverpool target Nabil Fekir after failing to sign for the Reds has been linked with a move to Chelsea just right before the closing of transfer window. "I spoke to him when we were together in the French national team, when his move to Liverpool fell through," Giroud told Foot Mercato. "Then we discussed Chelsea, and I even think that Eden said a couple of words to him.We would obviously welcome him, he is a super player, but I don’t know if this is something that could happen as the window closes on Thursday." Chelsea beat Lyon on Tuesday by penalties in their final pre-season friendly and, after the game, Lyon head coach Bruno Genesio opened the door for Fekir to leave the club this summer. Genesio told reporters: "It's too early to say. He wanted to leave at the end of last season, but came back to training [on Monday] and was happy. "There may be opportunities that come up before the end of the window. For now, he is a Lyon player."
