De Gea close to putting pen to paper

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has recently been linked with a move to Real Madrid after a series of fine performances for the Red Devils. They signed De Gea from Atletico Madrid seven years ago for £18.9million  record sum for a goalkeeper. The Spain international helped United to win the Premier League title, the Europa League and the FA Cup. De Gea’s current deal comes to an end in 2019 but talks over a fresh deal have gone well and he is now close to putting pen to paper.
