Daniel Sturridge shares his Ultimate XI

Liverpool attacker Daniel Sturridge formed  his XI of Ultimate best player of all time. His former teammate Steven Gerrard, as well as contemporary football stars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have found their players in the Englishman’s formation.

While talking about choosing Manchester United legend currently Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo, Sturridge noted:

“There will be a lot of Liverpool fans out there thinking, ‘really, Daniel, you’re going to put a United player in there’, but you’ve got to respect someone’s ability and what they have done for the club..

“He’s done a lot for football, broke barriers.”

“I know my four strikers aren’t going to defend so in a 4-2-4 formation we’ll probably lose,” the 28-year-old concluded on the matter in his talk with Liverpool official Youtube channel.

The other players in his Ultimate XI are former Chelsea stars Nicolas Anelka, Didier Drogba, John Terry and Ashley Cole, Manchester City central defender Vincent Kompany, PSG centre-back Thiago Silva, former Italy international Andrea Pirlo, and Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech protecting the goals.
