Cristiano Ronaldo breaks another La Liga record

Cristiano Ronaldo is back to his very top as he is starting to show the football that we are used to seeing from him.

Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo now has headed more goals in the La Liga than any other active player.

The record-breaking goal came in the 41st minute of Real Madrid’s match against Real Betis, where Los Blancos won 2-1.

Ronaldo’s 19th league goal of the season allowed him to jump over Aritz Aduriz, as both players had 45 headers before the Real Madrid’s game against Betis.

After CR7’s equaliser Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos sealed the victory for the home side in the 81st minute.

Ronaldo now also shares the all-time goalscorers record in top 5-leagues with Jimmy Greaves, with both players having 366 goals.

Los Blancos top the La Liga table with 62 points after 26 games. Barcelona are second with 60, however, Zinedine Zidane’s side have one game in hand.
