Chelsea forward Diego Costa picked up an injury during the Spain training session, the national team official website informs.
The 28-year-old was injured on his foot and ankle, and was forced to stop the training session. The player was then submitted to X-ray and TAC tests at Sanitas Clinic in Madrid.
The medical tests proved his physical condition to be all right for the upcoming matches. The medical staff of the national team will still be monitoring the situation and his appearance in the starting lineup against France in Tuesday European qualifier is under a question mark.
According to the official website, Chelsea doctors were also informed about the situation.
