Copa America will be held alongside the European Championship since Copa America 2020 in USA, CONMEBOL official website informs.
Such a decision is reasoned by the high revenues from Copa America Centenario in 2016, which was held right after Euro-2016.
The format of the tournament will stay the same, meaning the national teams from both South and North America will have the right to participate in Copa America.

The tournament will be held in Brazil in 2019, then in USA in 2020. Before changing the order Ecuador was set to host Copa America 2023, however the country was deprived from this right.
