Chelsea's flight home from Greece cancelled

Maurizio Sarri's plans ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League clash with West ham on Sunday were disrupted after the team’s flight home to London was cancelled. The players, staying at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Thessaloniki, were forced to stay an extra night. Sarri had wanted his squad home as soon as possible to prepare for their trip to the London Stadium but bad weather saw them stuck in Greece. Willian’s early goal from Ross Barkley’s lay-off was enough for a much-changed Blues side to maintain their winning start to the season in Greece, despite playing in front of a raucous sold-out crowd in Thessaloniki (0-1).
