Chelsea ‘snubbed’ Liverpool top target despite positive talks

Nabil Fekir remained tied to Lyon despite interest from Liverpool and Chelsea. The midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Merseyside before talks over his potential move to Chelsea. However, as a result he remained at Lyon. Reds had turned down the chance to sign Fekir due to concerns over his knees, while Chelsea snubbed the chance to sign the 25-year-old despite positive talks.
