Celtic address Daniel Arzani Man City return rumours. The full story on Arzani's struggles

Former West Ham midfielder Robbie Slater feels Daniel Arzani has blundered joining Celtic. Arzani is on-loan at Celtic from Manchester City but is yet to appear for the Hoops. Slater said: “It was an obvious error to take him there. After doing what he did at the World Cup he needed to go somewhere and play regularly. Clearly, Brendan Rodgers won't be starting him any time soon. Something's gone wrong – very, very wrong there." Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers doesn't think he's at the level required and that has been backed up by observers who have watched him in the reserves. Arzani was left out of Celtic's Europa League squad entirely which suggests the club does not expect him to be involved in the immediate future. Rodgers has urged patience and has said that Arzani is not ready for the first team and even left him out of his Europa League squad, and that brought a stinging rebuke from Celtic legend Willie Wallace. “Arzani is quick, he takes people on, and he reminds me a bit of Jimmy Johnstone because of that,” said Wallace. "He doesn’t have Jinky’s trickery, but he gets balls over, and did really well at Melbourne City for a couple of seasons. When I heard Rodgers say he wasn’t ready, I was baffled. Why take the boy if he thinks he’s not ready? If I was the lad, I’d ask to go back to City or go somewhere else to get a game.” Arzani reminded everyone of his talent by inspiring the win over Kuwait(4-0) as he won his fifth senior cap. Exciting from the minute he entered the field of play, he displayed trademark speed and agility to torment the Kuwait defence. Created a great chance just four minutes into being on the pitch.
The reports in Australian media about the player having a get-out clause in his loan arrangement have been dismissed by Celtic as being wide of the mark. Manchester City were said to have a recall clause on Australia teenager but Scottish club refute the idea he will be heading back to the Etihad Stadium.
