Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium was the scene of a security alert on Tuesday. Police were called to stadium early afternoon after being alerted, blocking off part of the Benwell Road. Police says the deal was a suspicious package, reports Mirror Football. Police confirmed a "partial evacuation" of part of the ground and the surrounding area took place. Supporters and those who live in the surrounding area have been told the issue has been dealt with and there is no reason to be alarmed.
