Bernardo Silva 'set for early return' to Manchester City from Portugal duty

Bernardo Silva is set for an early return from international duty. He will not take part in Portugal's preparation for their Sunday game against Scotland, according to O Jogo. The midfielder, who signed for the Blues for a reported £43 million in 2017, is set to return to City ahead of the Blues' game against Burnley on October 20. Pep Guardiola's side sit top of the Premier League table, ahead of Liverpool and Chelsea on goal difference.
