Barcelona have the strongest brand in the world
According to studies by consultancy Brand Finance, Barcelona passed Real Madrid to become World’s strongest brand.
Catalan club signed two new commercial contracts before this season with Nike and Rakuten. Also, Blaugrana won La Liga and Copa Del Rey. This achievements were considered during the study. Besides the achievements, Barcelona continue to work on their brand in US, China and Japan. The presence of Leo Messi also gives additional advantages.
Spanish champions were given AAA+ brand rating, which is similar to 96.6. They are followed by Real Madrid (96.4), Manchester United (94.6), Bayern Munich (93.1) and Liverpool (92.2).
