Barcelona to sign Sevilla star: Sport

According to Sport, Barcelona is close to sign Sevilla defender Clement Lenglet. The release clause for 22-year-old player is reportedly from €30m to €45m, and it seems Blaugrana are ready to pay that price, despite the interest from Real Madrid and some EPL clubs. Catalans are worried about the defensive situation inside the team. Thomas Vermaelen, 32, played less than 40 matches since his arrival, while Yerri Mina haven’t yet convinced about his class. Having this problems, Barcelona want to sign an alternative defender for Samuel Umtiti and Gerard Pique.
