Barcelona board has split over pursuit of Paul Pogba

Barcelona's board are divided on whether to move for Paul Pogba in January but are confident they have the financial resources, sources have told ESPN FC. Pogba is one of three targets, along with Paris Saint-Germain's Adrien Rabiot and Ajax's Frenkie de Jong by Barcelona as they look to strengthen the team. Paul Pogba will be most expensive out of those three options. His deal might be around €100 million. Barcelona has recently announced an expected revenue of €960m for the season, which would lead to an estimated profit of €11m post-tax. Barcelona's president Josep Maria Bartomeu has given an interview to The Times and he spoke on the case. "Most of the teams don't want to sell their players. They want to grow. The business is no longer to sell players and earn money. In football, you have to win, to generate funds, be successful. Also, I don't like to speak about other teams' players."
