Aubameyang is happy with Arsenal fresh start

Arsenal finished a massive 37 points behind champions Manchester City, failed to qualify for next season's Champions League and lost seven straight away games in the league prior to that 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town on the final day of the campaign. This is the real result of Wenger’s final season though many supporters as well as the Emirates stuff were a little bit sad because of Arsene Wenger’s departure after 22 years in charge. Arsenal player Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who arrived from Borussia Dortmund in the winter had a fine start in his new club. However, he believes that Arsenal was in need of fresh start as the last few seasons under Wenger haven't been too good. "I think it's a little bit of a mixed feeling in fact," the Gabon international said. "On one hand, it's strange for all the fans that the coach has left. But it's definitely a fresh start. "Since over the last few seasons - you have to tell the truth - the club has stagnated a little bit, I think everyone is actually a little bit excited to see what happens next season. "It is strange that the coach has left after 22 years. But that's life - we have to look forward. “It's going to be a new start so we'll have so we'll have to see how it goes... everyone will have to get it into their heads that we have to work hard to rival the best,” Aubameyang added.
