Arsene Wenger: 'No interest in CSKA Moscow's Aleksandr Golovin'

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has dismissed suggestions that he could be interested in signing CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin.

The two clubs have been drawn against each other in the Europa League, with the first leg taking place at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night. Reports have previously claimed that the Gunners are keen on the Russian international, but Wenger has indicated that the club are not currently considering an approach for the 21-year-old. At a press conference, the Frenchman told reporters: "It's not the case at the moment and I don't think it would be appropriate to speak about a CSKA player the day before the game."
