Arsenal transfer plans revealed as Mislintat and Emery plot late deals

Thursday is the deadline day of summer transfer window and Arsenal are still hoping to do further business before the last hour. It’s been a very productive summer at Arsenal as the Gunners brought in five new players with Unai Emery is happy with his squad. Now Arsenal job is to move players out of the squad first before they bring anyone else in. Here’re the names of the players, who are deemed surplus to requirements. Calum Chambers moves across London to join Fulham on a season-long loan deal, while David Ospina, Danny Welbeck and Carl Jenkinson could all leave before Thursday. Aaron Ramsey’s situation needs to be resolved first. The midfielder is now into the final year of his contract and despite prolonged talks since the end of last season, an agreement has yet to be reached. If a new contract is not finilised, he will have to leave with Chelsea ready to offer around £30 million for the Wales international. Speaking About Ramsey’s future Unai Emery said: “My opinion is clear, I want him to be with us. But that is a question for continuing the conversation with the player and the club. "My opinion is that he's a professional and he's in the team. He's the type of player I want in this team. But the contract is one thing only for the club and the player." Speculation continues to link Ousmane Dembele with a move to the Emirates. Though Barcelona have long insisted that Dembele is not for sale. Arsenal’s head of recruitment Sven Mislintat is a huge fan of Dembele and would be keen on bringing him to the Emirates.
