Arsenal and Tottenaham to battle for Porto midfielder

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will go head-to-head to sign Porto midfielder Hector Herrera, according to Corriere dello Sport. The midfielder's current deal will expire at the end of the season, however, and it is understood that he will move on a free transfer next summer. A number of clubs have been linked with the Mexican, but Arsenal and Tottenham will battle for his signature. The 28-year-old has made more than 200 appearances for Porto since a move from Pachuca in 2013. He has scored 27 times, including one in 11 appearances for the Portuguese champions this season.
