Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's contract details have been revealed, as they show a clear bonus system linked to UEFA Champions League trophy.
According to German magazine Der Spiegel (published by Daily Mail), the player moved from Borussia Dortmund for 55 million pounds plus a 5 million pound add-on.
The source claims that the forward was paid 18.2 million pounds to leave the Bundesliga side for a weekly wage of 198k pounds.
Also the contract has a clause stating a 15.15 million pound bonus that should be granted to the player in four installments, to be paid before 2021.
The 28-year-old will also earn 300k pounds for 25 goals and assists in a season and he earns 50,000 pounds for every Premier League match which he starts in and which the team win.
According to the source, he has also somehow earned a “Champions League bonus” of £2.26million, despite Arsenal failing to qualify for the competition.
