Arsenal in race to sign Juventus defender

Arsenal have already signed Stephan Lichtsteiner from Juventus and now they join Marseille and Borussia Dortmund in race to sign another player from the Italian side. Lichtsteiner will move to the Emirates alongside with goalkeeper Bern Leno, while a £16m deal for Borussia Dortmund's Sokratis Papastathopoulos is expected to go through very soon. Reports from Italy claim that Arsenal are interested in signing Juventus centre-back Medhi Benatia. The Old Lady will give their centre-back for  a fee of around 25 million euros. Medhi Benatia made the permanent move to Turin from Bayern Munich just last summer following a loan spell in the 2016/2017 campaign. He made 32 appearances across all competitions and was the hero in the Coppa Italia win over AC Millan.
