Arsenal fans furious with projected transfer budget for next summer's window

The Telegraph report that the Arsenal Supporters Trust have forecast that the club will have a transfer budget of around £40million next summer. They believe the situation will eventually improve, once the Gunners' new shirt sponsorship and kit deals with Adidas begin next season. Arsenal fans have been reacting to the news on social media, and it seems many of them are understandably disappointed with the projected budget. On Twitter, one wrote: "£40million? Where is all the money gone, are we building another stadium again?" Another added: "Newly promoted sides will spend more." A third said: "£40million? Pathetic. Who can you get these days for that? Not even mid-table teams have that attitude." And a fourth concluded: "This would have been great news... in 1995".
