Arsenal have joined Southampton in their race to bid Polish player Sebastian Walukiewicz.
The Pogon Szczecin centre-back made his first-team debut last season but is already noticed as one of the best young players in Europe.
The 18-year-old has made 31 appearances across Poland’s youth teams and now his transfer could cost £1million.
It’s said that Gunners and Saints scouts were in attendance for his club’s league clash against Miedz Legnica on Friday.
They were impressed with Walukiewicz despite the ace being on the receiving end of a 1-0 scoreline.
Arsenal have already signed a number of stars this summer, including Lucas Torreira and Bernd Leno but and coach Unai Emery has recently stated that they need at least one more new signing.
