Arsene Wenger celebrated his final Emirates match with a 5-0 win over Burnley on Sunday. After the match the Frenchman gifted a lucky young fan a tie which will always remind him of the final match.
The youngster stood in the stands with a big yellow sign which read: “Arsene, can I please have your tie?”
The three-time Premier League title winner made sure the lucky lad got his wish by handing over the red tie worn during the game.
Wenger is leaving Arsenal after a 22-year-stint and admits the time is right for a “new start”, adding: “I have to learn how to reconnect with myself and organise everything in life.
“For 22 years I have had to forget about my own feelings and care about the problems I needed to sort out.
