Arsenal to bid €40 million for Benzema

Karim Benzema has been at heart of Real Madrid for almost a decade and has lead the club to glory on many occasions. However, the 30-year-old has lately endured a difficult season in Madrid and according to some reports, Sergio Aguero has told the club president Florentino Perez to sell him. Now the Frenchman is in the center of Arsenal attention. Though Arsenal have prepared €40 million for Benzema, Perez is holding out €80m in exchange for the striker, He was signed from Lyon in 2009 and has gone on to make more than 400 appearances for the club.
