Antoine Griezmann agent spoke to Barcelona president amid ongoing speculation

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has confirmed that he met with Antoine Griezmann’s agent back in October-confirming reports that came out in December regarding the matter. “I have bumped into Griezmann occasionally in the Balearic Islands. I have not spoken to him this year but I did speak to his agent in October.“With Atletico Madrid President Enrique Cerezo I have spoken about a lot of things but not about this,” Bartomeu told RAC1. Frenchman has a 100 million euro release clause in his contract and Spanish media reported that Barcelona is ready to pay it. It has also been reported that Atletico could offer the 27-year-old a new deal.
