Andy Murray became World number 1

The Scot has been named world number one during last week ATP Paris Masters win.

One day after securing the World No. 1 position in ATP Rankings, Andy Murray added another trophy in his personal collection defeating John Isner 6-3, 6-7(4), 6-4 in a thrilling two-hour and 18-minute final.

Murray claimed his eighth tour-level crown of the year and 43rd in total. He notched a 14th ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title and joins Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski  among British winners in Paris.

Novak Djokovic, ex-first number one, was defeated by Marin Cilic during Paris tournament in quarter-finals and lost his leading position. A big change aslo seen in top ratings. Roger Federer spent 734 weeks in the tennis top-10 but after 14 years he has finally dropped out.
