Sergio Aguero says he plans to be at Manchester City next season, but has not been given any assurances over his future.
There has been speculation that Aguero might leave the Etihad in the summer following Gabriel Jesus’ arrival.
He told Onda Cero: “One thing is that the club officially says (they want me here) and another thing to tell me.
“All I have to dedicate to is playing football. There are three months left – the only thing I think is to give the best in these three months and then you will see.
“My intention is to stay. The club can say what it wants, but in June they will have to meet with me.”
Asked if he will be at the Etihad next season, Aguero reiterated: “That will be seen in June. My intention is to stay, but there’s a long way to go.”
