The Court of Arbitration for Sport overturned the ban AC Milan received after the Italian giants had breached a Financial Fair Play requirement to break even after spending £200m on transfers.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas) asked Uefa to issue a more "proportionate disciplinary measure".
So AC Milan are now free to play in this season's Europa League.
