8 midfielders under Emery mood. Whom will the boss chose for London derby?

Saturday, August 15 The Gunners will try to win Chelsea and desisted the tradition of defeats from 2011. Arsenal's boss Unai Emery has 8 midfielders under his hands to win in London derby. Let's see the Emery's list of  midfielders.

Lucas Torreira

Torreira could make his first Premier League start this weekend playing against Chelsea. He can operate in either a midfield two or as the anchor in a three-man midfield where he will provide some much-needed cover to Arsenal's defensive unit.

Mattéo Guendouzi

Mattéo Guendouzi made Granit Xhaka look like the inexperienced player in the first round of Premier League previous week, and Emery could reward him with another starting place against Chelsea this weekend.

Mesut Ozil

Mesut Ozil tried to get in the game against Manchester City, but can't dictate the play. Ozil may come into the middle and be given license to create in London derby, if Aubameyang be deployed out wide to accommodate Lacazette or if Emery really goes for it and plays two up top.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Mkhitaryan was tasked with supporting Aubameyang in attack like Mesut Ozil, but both he can't deliver. Mkhitaryan's performance didn't please the coach and fans, so must be hoping the Armenian can have more of an impact against Chelsea.  Mkhitaryan will probably adopt the same position as he did against Manchester City and look to cut inside or make darting runs into the box to assist Aubameyang

Aaron Ramsey

The Welshman started the game against Manchester City operating in the middle of Arsenal's three attacking midfielders behind Aubameyang. Ramsey has gone on record to say that he prefers playing in a more advanced role and Emery looks like agree that Ramsey flourishes when he can support the striker and press from the front.

Mohamed Elneny

Elneny's future in Arsenal looks uncertain, because Arsenal are looking to offload him before the European transfer deadline ends. Maybe, this suggest that Unai Emery hasn't completely given up on him yet, which also echoes the sentiment of some Arsenal fans who claimed after the game that it's Xhaka who should be sold instead of Elneny.

Alex Iwobi

Iwobi has recently signed a new 'long-term' deal with Arsenal, so he's definitely in Unai Emery's plans, it's just whether the manager has enough faith in the often inconsistent midfielder who has been ineffective in big games before. The Nigerian would certainly be a more direct and pacy alternative to Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and could stretch Chelsea's back four and get in-behind to create for whoever starts up top.

Granit Xhaka

Xhaka started Arsenal's Premier League opener and was heavily criticised by supporters. Arsene Wenger was clearly a fan of The Swiss, but it remains to be seen how much faith Unai Emery puts in the midfielder.
