Tennis: Indian Wells – ATP number 5 Kei Nishikori managed to overcome Dan Evans in the second round of BNP Paribas Open and advanced to the third stage of the Indian Wells 2017 tournament.
Nishikori earned an easy victory by beating Evans 6-3, 6-4 in two sets. Despite allowing the British opponent to grab the first break point, Nishikori turned the things’ arrangement and won the 1-hour-and-24-minute game at Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
Another British tennis player, Kyle Edmund, lost to World N2 Novak Djokovic 4-6, 6-7. Hence, Great Britain are no longer represented in Indian Wells this year.
